Wing: Deer Hair (Blue Ribbon Flies has a great "X-Caddis" hair)
Thorax: Loosely dubbed antron or omit and use deer hair butts as the head like a standard EHC
Notes: An extremely effective emerging caddis imitation for placid to moderately swift water. Great for many spring creek caddis hatches. Gary uses a traditional head and a more tan color than the original.
