Waterman's Silver Outcast

Type: Streamer (Bass)
Hook: Down eye, 3X long
Thread: Black
Body: Flat silver tinsel
Wing: Sparse bunches of white over which is yellow, over which is blue bucktail topped by several strands peacock herl
Tyer: Dick Sisco
Note: Stuart and Allen list the wing as "Sparse bunches of white over which is blue, and yellow bucktail or calftail topped by several strands peacock herl" but the illustration shows a fly with "blue over yellow over white". I have used both and both catch fish. I use a purple bucktail in place of the blue.

This fly imitates the standard midwestern "crappie minnow" and is effective in Minnesota lakes.
